Why & How?

The purpose of the wholesale platform is to automate stock management. This is done by connecting suppliers to retailers digitally.

When a retailer is connected to her supplier(s), automated stock and inventory management becomes possible. We can exploit this possibility with a management platform that takes control over the purchases that a retailer needs to do to keep her stock up to date. When this process is automated approximately 8 hours a day for 3500 products across +- 100 suppliers per account manager will be accounted for. Which means an average of 1500 EUR a month will be saved.

The platform

The wholesale platform is a mix between CRM, ERP and WMS; Customer Relationsship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning and a Warehouse Management System. Combining these 3 types of systems results in a full but simple overview and an efficient quality platform that empowers both retailers and suppliers.

Initialisation

When an account is created on wholesaler.gr functionality according the type of business will be provided. The supplier will have other functionalities then the retailer. The initialisation of a business account consists out of three steps.
Step 1. Provide the nesceassary business information such as address, VAT number, business name and logo.
Step 2. Provide your inventory information. What kind of products do you sell? To which type of inventory do you want to connect or publish the products you'd like to provide on the wholesale.gr platform to retailers.
Step 3. Either install the wholesale platform for suppliers. Or import, purchase products from suppliers to add to your (e-)shop and store(s).

Features and Usability

To automate inventory management the most important is to (connect sales equipment and) manage orders according protocolls. For retailer and supplier these protocolls very per business. So we've adapt to this fact keeping our protocolls flexible and adjustable.

Computerisation (digitalisation)

The first thing that's nesceassary is to have a digital assets of the suppliers inventory.
Product information need to match between supplier and retailer.
The wholesaler dashboard and our team will make sure these matches accure.
As supplier you can upload your inventory with a csv, connect your existing database, insert products one by one or ask us to help you connect third party software (such as an ERP system) to import your inventory inside the wholesale dashboard and use your excisting software to keep it up to date.
The retailer can then see this inventory and offer and use it for purchases to supply in their stores or use it for data imports in their e-shop.

Connecting stocks; The next thing is to connect both stocks. According the purchases that have been done at supplier(s) and the sales data of the retailer the platform can predict and plan future orders. Sales at retailers are also done various ways, scanning at cashdesk, online orders, delivery and so on... So a retailer in the wholesaler.gr dashboard will be able to upload their orders through a csv, insert orders one by one, change them, delete them or ask us to connect all systems or third party software for them.

Matching inventories; Where the magic happens is the moment inventories match. To make this easy a retailer will also have the possibility to upload a CSV with their inventory and manage product information or ask us to connect third party software.
Products in the inventory of Retailers will be recognized by barcode or name and matched with the product in the inventory of suppliers. For every product for both supplier and retailer there's the possibility to define the stock the first time of initialisation.

Now that we have the inventory, stock, purchase and sales data from both retailers and suppliers and the inventories are matched. We can manage orders on a whole different level.

Order Management

Depending on the Usability of the customer (retailer of supplier) of wholesaler.gr. order management is simplified and automated with full controll for both parties.
For example:
Product X of Retailer Y has a current stock of 100 peaces.
Retailer Y has defined in the wholesaler.gr dashboard that product X need to be purchased when the stock is lower then 50 products at Supplier A.
Customer #1 bought 20 pieces of Product X monday 1st of January.
Customer #2 bought 15 pieces of Product X on the 10th of January.
Customer #3 bought 20 pieces of Product X on the 20th of January.
The system know that approximately 20 pieces are sold every 10 days.
This means that the order is planned at the end of the month for 100 pieces at Supplier A.
Unless defined differently.

Supplier A has to define the way orders coming in.
Either it can be through third party software, e-mail, sms or through the dashboard itself.
This protocoll has to be implemented by the supplier. But supplier A has the information of the current stock of all connected retailers to his wholesale platform.
This means the platform checks the amount of stock of retailers connected to the supplier.

Sales pitches. Every supplier has the possibility to pre write a sales pitch for Product X to send to Retailer Y, if retailer Y is connected and if the stock of a certain product seems to get out of stock.
Retailer Y will be informed with this sales pitch automatically by the specific supplier(s) who sells Product X.
Retailer Y has the possibility to switch automatic acceptation of sales pitches or deny them automatically. This results in purchases at certain supplier for certain products.

Discover it for yourself, save a lot of time and never go out of stock again!
